ANNOUNCEMENTS

CANCELLATIONS:  Any service cancellations for inclement weather will be announced on the following radio stations:  940AM WFAW, FM 107.3 WSJY and FM 106.5 WKCH.

LISTENING ENHANCERS AVAILABLE:  Earphones that amplify the church’s sound system are available for anyone who has trouble hearing the sermon.  Please just ask the usher for them.

 HAVE A HEART MILITARY:  This year we will be collecting things at the local stores for the soldiers.  Please see Mark Droegemeuller if you can help with this project, or if you have any questions.  

DONATIONS FOR THRIVENT BASKET:  There is a red basket marked for Thrivent on the counter in the fellowship area.  We welcome any monetary donations you would like to make.  If you have any questions, please ask Mark Droegemueller.

WOMEN’S BIBLE CLASS:  We finished our six week Bible study on the life of Eve.   We will resume our Bible study with the study of Ruth and follow that with the life of Mary, the Mother of God.  Thanks again to everyone who so faithfully attended.

FLOWERS:  If you would like to provide altar flowers please put your name on the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board.    

TOYS FOR THE CRY ROOM:    If you have children’s toys that you are no longer using please consider donating them to the church.  We are looking for toys in excellent condition (that are for babies and children through age 5)  such as blocks, legos, small cars/trucks as well as simple board games like Candy Land or Chutes and Ladders. For sanitary reasons we don’t want any stuffed animals toys.  

ITEMS FOR THE CHURCH:   Thank you to those who have donated items to the church.  Here are some of the items still needed:  juice/juice drinks for fellowship after worship services, paper towels, saran wrap and large size trash bags.   

 FELLOWSHIP AFTER CHURCH:  We have a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for anyone who would like to donate snacks for our Sunday morning fellowship time after the worship service.   

TAPES OF SERVICES:  The church has obtained a tape copying machine and can make tapes of the sermon for anyone who wants one.  Anyone who wants a tape should talk to Trevor

COMMUNION SCHEDULE:  Holy Communion is served during the Worship Service on the first and third Sunday of each month.

ADULT BIBLE CLASS:  Pastor has an Adult Bible Class on  Sunday  at 9:00am. 

SERVICE AT GOLDEN LIVING:  Pastor Piepenbrink has a service at Golden Living (formerly Fort Health and Rehab) located at 430 Wilcox Street in Fort Atkinson at 1:30PM on the first Sunday of each month.  All are welcome to attend.

LWML MITE BOXES:  Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Please  save your pennies and small change to further the cause of the worthy missions around the world.  We will periodically bring our mites to church for an ingathering to be deposited in the LWML fund.  If you have any questions, please talk with Betty Piepenbrink.

CONTACT DIRECTORY:  A listing with the contact information for those attending Peace was placed in the mailboxes at church. Please advise Glen of any additions or corrections.

BULLETIN BOARDS:  Each week please see the Life At Peace Bulleitin Board and the Business Bulletin Board for information on ministries and upcoming activities in the District and Community. 

LIBRARY NEWS:  We hope you are taking advantage of the materials being added regularly to the library selves in our fellowship area.   Thank you to everyone who has made donations to our library.  We have a spiral notebook on one of the library shelves.  If you decide to take anything from the shelves, please write in the notebook the name of the material, your name, and the date you took it.  When you return it, please put in that day’s date.  This will help us keep track of the materials.
